Guest reviews

I stayed at the hotel in July 2019. The weather turned out to be surprisingly cold and rainy, but the disappointment over the weather was made up for by the hospitality of the hotel staff and the excellent service. The room was clean, cosy and comfortable. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

I stayed at Rinaldi on Vasilievsky Island at the end of December 2017. I had come for the Russian Figure Skating Championships. It's 20 minutes at an unhurried pace to the Yubileyny.
A cosy hotel with an excellent location. In a quiet courtyard. Easy to find, especially as they send a location map with the booking confirmation. The metro is a 5-minute walk away. There's a public transport stop nearby, and Dixy and 7Ya shops. I liked the area itself.
The staff are very courteous. The room was clean and fresh, with good furniture and bed linen — just what you need for a rest. The soundproofing really is non-existent. But nobody makes excessive noise, so it's quite bearable. In the kitchen you can cook yourself food or make tea.
On the whole I'm happy with my stay. I'd gladly come again.

We stayed at Rinaldi on Vasilievsky in June 2017 for 2 nights. We liked everything very much. The hotel was easy to find, and they checked us in straight away, even though we arrived 2 hours earlier than the standard time. The reception staff are all friendly and unobtrusive. The hotel has security. Rinaldi, thank you very much for the stay. We'll come back to you again.

We stayed at this hotel during the autumn school holidays. We liked the hotel very much. The location is a good one – close to many of the sights, to public transport stops and to the Neva. The room and the kitchen are clean and cosy. The plumbing in the bathroom is modern and clean. The hotel staff are attentive. In August we stayed at the Art, and it was very good there too.

I stayed at "Rinaldi on Vasilievsky" in November 2014. I liked everything very much. Everything a budget traveller needs: clean bedding, a bathroom that is small but clean and modern, hot water available, no dust, a tasty breakfast. The staff are responsive. The dining room has a fridge, a microwave, a kettle and a water cooler, so you can come back in the evening and have a bite to eat. The hotel is easy to find from the metro, a 6-minute walk. The area is very pleasant. There are cafés, restaurants, a shop and a pharmacy nearby. You can get to the Hermitage in 10 minutes by bus or 30 minutes on foot. The only thing – the walls are thin, of course, and the soundproofing is terrible. Overall, I recommend the hotel.

I stayed at "Rinaldi on Vasilievsky" at the very end of October 2014, and before that a year earlier, in the summer. The location is ideal: the metro is right there, the university is close, the main sights are within easy walking distance; the embankment is nearby, and in summer it is convenient for watching the bridges being raised. Quiet, clean, good service, friendly staff. The breakfast is simple but suited me perfectly well. Towels were changed every day. The shower cubicle could do with an update, but everything works. I will be coming back again.
